The Delta AFB0612L-A is a two-phase, four-pole DC brushless axial fan designed for low-power cooling applications. With a rated voltage of 12 VDC and an extended operating voltage range of 4.0–13.8 VDC (start voltage ≤4.0 VDC at 25°C), it features 0.08 A nominal input current (0.12 A max.), 0.96 W nominal power consumption (1.44 W max.), and a reference rotational speed of 3100 RPM. Aerodynamically, it delivers a maximum airflow of 0.476 m³/min (minimum 0.428 m³/min, equivalent to 16.81 CFM/15.11 CFM) at zero static pressure, and a peak static pressure of 2.86 mmH₂O (minimum 2.32 mmH₂O, 0.113 inchH₂O/0.091 inchH₂O) at zero airflow, with an average acoustic noise level of 26.5 dB(A) (30.5 dB(A) max.).

Mechanically, the fan incorporates a UL94V-0 flame-retardant plastic frame and impeller, paired with dual ball bearings for extended durability, and weighs 80 g. It rotates clockwise with red(+)/black(-) UL1007-F-AWG#24 leads and an open-type housing. Electrical specifications include UL Class A insulation (≥10 MΩ insulation resistance at 500 VDC, ≤5 mA dielectric strength at 500 VAC/60 Hz for 1 min).

Environmentally, it operates within 10–70°C (storage: -40–75°C) and 5–90% RH, validated by reliability tests including 5 thermal cycles (-40°C to 80°C), 168-hour humidity exposure (65°C/90–98% RH), and 3.2 gRMS vibration (2 hours per X/Y/Z axis). Protective features include 96-hour locked-rotor fire resistance under rated voltage and polarity reversal protection.

Compliant with environmental regulations (free of PBBs, CFCs, and other ozone-depleting substances), it is manufactured in China, Thailand, or Taiwan. For parallel operation, an external ≥4.7 μF capacitor is required to stabilize power input. Suitable for low-power thermal management in computer systems, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control modules, installation precautions include avoiding impeller mechanical stress or lead cable tension; performance re-evaluation is recommended after 6 months of storage.
